This site was made to tell you a little bit about me.  It will always be a work in progress.  As I learn new web design skills such as Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver, I will be implementing those skills into the website.  In the mean time, please bear with me! 

In my free time, I am studying website design and created KayaJewelryDesign.com for a client of mine who has a handmade jewelry business. This site has been a work in progress over the last couple of years and now features multiple CGI forms on the site as well as a 149 item shopping cart. While taking a web design class, I created MarshmellowTheFold.com as well as SamsonTheCat.com which feature pictures and stories about my two cats. Some of my friends wonder why I did this and I can assure you, it was for a class assignment!

One of my biggest accomplishments was losing 95 pounds by working out at the gym and eating right. I went from 255 pounds down to 160 pounds in a little over a year. I remember the days of eating two bowls of chips as a snack and two bowls of ice cream for dessert. Those days are long gone but I still like to go out to eat on occasion. Some of my favorite "fun restaurants" are Chipotle as well as Chick's Natural, and L&L Hawaiian Barbeque to name a few places.
